The conventional, convexly shaped bicycle seats do not match the shape of the buttocks of the cyclist to the extent that the body weight is distributed over a relatively large supporting area. Furthermore, since the thighs constantly rub against the fixed front part of the saddle during pedalling, the unavoidably occurring seating difficulties can become a problem on a relatively long bicycle ride. A structure is presented as a "dynamic bicycle saddle" which has a substantially larger seating surface than in conventional saddles and two movable flaps which support the thighs and have raised inner wheels which ensure the rotationally secure seating position of the cyclist. The following sketch clarifies the mode of operation of the dynamic bicycle saddle. <IMAGE>
