PURPOSE:To improve measuring accuracy, by providing an X-ray source part, which is provided in a main body and has an X-ray source, and providing a shutter at a position of a lower part of said X-ray source part, so that the shutter can be moved back and forth in the direction crossing the X-ray beam from said X-ray source. CONSTITUTION:An X-ray source part is provided in a main body 11 and provided with an X-ray source 12. The X-ray source 12 is immersed in oil 13 and kept in a tightly closed state by a lid body 14. At a position of a lower part of said X-ray source part 10, a pair of sliding bodies 17 and 18 is held by a pair of guiding bearings 15 and 16, so that the bodies 17 and 18 are freely moved. A shutter body 19 is provided on the sliding bodies 17 and 18 so that the shutter body 19 can be moved freely back and forth in the direction of an arrow A. In this constitution, based on the change in intensity of the fluorescent X rays from a calibration sample plate, the calibration operation can be performed in association with the switch-over in collimators. Therefore, the measuring accuracy can be improved. |
