In the case of a contact device for the electrically conductive connection, preferably of a liquid-crystal cell to a printed-circuit board which is arranged at right angles thereto, the conductor tracks, (which are to be connected) of the printed-circuit board are connected to metallic contact strips which run at least partially parallel to the liquid-crystal cell and, between the liquid-crystal cell and the parallel-running part, the contact strip is conductive rubber. The invention comprises various refinements of the contact strips and holders for the contact strips, and the conductive rubber. <IMAGE>
