PURPOSE:To prevent talc from adhering to the surface of a photosensitive body and to form a fine image by forming an organic rotary drum and an electric field impressing means for impressing an electric field to the surface of the drum. CONSTITUTION:When paper is carried on a paper carrying course 4 in the arrow C direction, the leading end part of the paper is detected by a detecting sensor and a corona discharger 12 is turned on. Talc peeled from the side edge part of the paper by contacting with a guide member is electrostatically adsorbed to the surface of the organic insulating drum 11 at the passage over the corona discharger 12. Since the drum 11 is rotated in the arrow A direction, the talc adsorbed to the surface is scraped off by a grinding roller 16 and stored in a talc cleaner 15. Since the talc on the paper can be previously removed in the front of a coyping process part 3, peeled talc is almost removed from the end part of the paper guided to the copying process 3 and the talc does not adhere to a photosensitive drum 31. |
