PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a highly reliable liquid jet recording head by bonding a recording element substrate and a drive element substrate under pressure to make it possible to perform not only the electrical connection of both substrates but also the certain connection of ink supply passages. SOLUTION: An emission element 100 is constituted by bonding a top plate 130 equipped with ink receiving orifices 131 or a common liquid chamber 132 to a recording element substrate 101 having recording elements and connection electrodes 120 arranged thereto and bonding an elbow member 117 having ink passages and the ink supply ports 119 formed to the elbow member 117 are set to the connection points of the ink supply passages and the center axial line of the ink supply ports 119 is arranged in the width (d) of the connection electrode 120 of the recording element substrate 101. The electrodes 120 of the recording element substrate 101 and the electrodes of the drive element substrate are aligned to bond both substrates under pressure to perform not only the electrical connection of both substrates but also the certain connection of the ink supply passages.
