<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the cutting/separation of a test piece or the like from a large material to be cut by operating a rotating cylinder to rotate a rotor and switching the addendum section of a band saw blade supported by it into conditions directed in the vertical direction or the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:A work piece is fixed on a work table, a band saw blade 11 is held, with its addendum section directed downward, a cutting head is lowered, and the work piece is vertically cut. A rotor 225 is rotated by the operation of a rotating cylinder 253, the band saw blade 11 is held, with its addendum section directed horizontally and forward, and the vertical movement of the cutting head is fixed at this position. Then, a longitudinally moving cylinder is operated, a saw blade housing is moved forward, thereby the work piece can be cut horizontally. That is, horizontal and vertical cutting for the work piece is performed respectively, and a test piece or the like can be cut and separated.</p> |
