Granulation of pigments - by treatment in fluidised bed with water and granulating aid

Pigment powders are converted to granulate form by treatment in a fluidised bed with water and a granulating aid, e.g. a surfactant, binder, or pigment-improving agent. The granulate is virtually dry (2% water), dust-free and free-flowing, and can be handled without pollution or health hazards. Easy dispersibility in organic media is retained.
