PURPOSE:To solve problems, such as nonuniformity of a light color image area, white spots, and black spots, by laminating an insulating film, an Se.Cl layer, and an Se.Te layer in succession on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The insulating film 2, the Se.Cl layer 3, and the Se.Te layer 4 are laminated in succession on the surface of the conductive substrate 1 made of Al or Ni. The substrate 1 is finished by cutting an Al drum and polishing the surface with a grinding stone of No.1,000-2,000. Polyparaxylylene, polycarbonate, polyurethane, and the like resins are used for the material of the thin film 2. The Se.Cl layer 3 acts as an electrostatic charge transfer layer and a charge retentive layer, and Cl is added to Se is an amount of 10-100ppm, and such an insulating film 2 is formed, thus permitting rise of residual potential to be prevented. The Se.Te layer 4 is effective as the photosensitive body of a color copying machine, and Te is added to Se in an amount of 12-18wt% and it is formed in a layer thickness of 0.5-10mum. |
