PURPOSE:To accurately measure the light emitting output of a semiconductor light emitting element by composing a photoreceptor side of two or more external electrodes of a transparent material for the emitting light wavelength of the element. CONSTITUTION:A transparent electrode 15 is formed of a transparent material for emitting light wavelength of a light emitting element 12 to pass the emitting light wavelength of the element such as indium oxide, tin oxide, or titanium oxide or the material which contains them. When measuring the emitting light output of the element 12, a photoreceptor 16 contacts through the electrode 15 with the element 12. Thus a gap between the photoreceptor 16 and the element 12 is approx. several mm. Since a light shield is not presented between the photoreceptor 16 and the element 12, most of the emitted light output of the element 12 can be incident to the photoreceptor 16. Thus, the emitted light output of the light emitting element can be accurately measured. |
