PURPOSE:To obtain the flattened, light-weight, and small-diameter fan of high efficiency, by forming a ring of plastic material integrally on the outer periphery of a plurality of fan pieces, and by containing a magnet rotor in the ring to confront a ring-formed stator. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of fan pieces 3a-3f, a cup-formed member 1a, and a ring 2 are integrally molded with plastic material to form a rotary fan. In the ring 2 of the rotary fan, magnets 2a-2h are contained so that different poles may appear alternately on the outer peripheral surface of the ring 2 to form a ring-formed rotor integrally with the rotary fan. A stationary armature 4 made of plastic molded substance is set to surround the outer periphery of the rotor, and the rotary fan is pivotally supported by a bearing unit 4a extended integrally from the molded substance. The rotary fan is started by using cogging torque, and according to the output of a rotor-position detecting element, the change-over of the electrical conduction of the armature 4 is controlled by an electrical conduction control circuit. |
