<p>PURPOSE:To easily take out sheets by skipping the preset number of bin trays to sort sheets and widening the separation between sheets stacked in each bin in a sorter connected to a copying machine or the like for use. CONSTITUTION:When the sort preset number mode is selected and a start switch is turned on, a motor 7 is operated, and bin trays B are lowered toward the home position. When a sensor S3 hits a lug B', a signal is sent from a sensor S3 to a control section 21, a motor 7 is stopped, and a sorter 20 waits so that the first sheet can be carried into a bin tray B1. In this case, a tray detecting means consisting of an encoder S2 is set to 1 in the control section 21. Then, a one-tray skip operating means 24 sends a signal to a CPU to move every other tray, and a tray driving means consisting of a motor 7 is operated in response to a sheet detecting sensor S1. Accordingly, sheets are discharged to bin trays by skipping the specific number of them.</p> |
