PURPOSE:To provide skin-beautifying cosmetic containing zinc lactate, storable stably for a long period and capable of developing and imparting excellent skin-beautifying effect. CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic contains 0.05-30wt% zinc lactate. Zinc lactate is dissolved and diffused rapidly in sebum and impregnated easily into the skin, and consequently, it develops excellent skin-beautifying effect by moderately inhibiting the tyrosinase activity in the dermatic tissue. Zinc lactate is compounded to conventional skin cosmetic such as cream, milky lotion, lotion, powder, etc. There are three types of zinc lactate, i.e. L-type, D-type and DL- type all of which have excellent tyrosinase-inhibiting activity, with L-type zinc lactate having the highest activity. |
