PURPOSE:To securely join members which are hardly joinable by preliminarily fixing and forming a brazing filler metal consisting of a specifically composed Al alloy to a brazing surface of a specific member consisting of Mo, etc., superposing the member in this state on the brazing surface of the Al member and subjecting the members to the vacuum brazing. CONSTITUTION:The brazing filler metal layer which is constituted of the Al alloy contg. 3-14wt% Si and having 0.1-1mm average layer thickness is fixed and formed onto the brazing surface of the member to be brazed consisting of any among pure Mo, Mo alloy, pure W and W alloy. The member to be brazed is then vacuum-brazed to a base body consisting of pure Al or Al alloy via the above-mentioned brazing filler metal layer. The brazing with the high joint strength is thereby made possible. |
