PURPOSE:To make thermal distribution of a metal mold uniform by forming many cavities by dividing the mold into several partitions, and feeding thermal medium thereinto. CONSTITUTION:Hollow parts 18, 20 are formed in metal molds 12, 14. Partitions 26a-26f are formed in the hollow parts 18, 20 to form several partitions, and thermal medium ports 23, 27d, 27e, 27f, 25 are formed at the diagonal positions of the partitions. A protrusion 30 for imparting change in fluid flow is formed on the way of the partitions. The medium fed from the port 23 into the partitions is fed out of a thermal medium flowing opening 25 through partition inner face or partition 26d, port 27d, protrusion 30, partition 26e, port 27e, partition 26f, port 27f, etc. The medium is agitated in the partitions due to turbulent flow generated in the partitions so that the temperature in the partitions become uniform. The cavity faces of the molds 12, 14 are uniformly heated. |
