PURPOSE:To provide non-polluting waste incineration treating facilities by providing a heating means to a stagnation part where the incineration ashes of the dust collector of waste incineration are filled and decomposing the arom. chlorine compd. contained in the incineration ashes by heating to >=300 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:The incineration ashes A introduced into an ash bunker 20 are withdrawn at a prescribed flow rate by a screw conveyor 21 and are subjected to a heating treatment by receiving the heat of, for example, a waste combustion gas in a heat exchanger 22, by which the org. chlorine compd. is removed. The ashes are thereafter discharged to the outside of the system from an ash discharging port 23 and are used for land reclamation, etc. Heating of the incineration ashes by introducing a heat medium into the shaft of, for example, a screw conveyor 31 in place of the heat exchanger 22 is equally well. The amt. of an off gas is extremely small and the post treatment is easy; in addition, the initial cost is relatively low if the treatment is executed in the above-mentioned manner. |
