PURPOSE:To prevent the inner surface of the tool pot from letting bruises remain and wearing by providing a tool pot with a tapered opening section coated with wear and abrasion resistant resin and a bottom through hole to be fitted with a pull stud concentrically so as to make the resin coat hold the tool shank flexibly. CONSTITUTION:The inner surface of the opening section of a tool pot 1 is coated with a fluorine resin layer 5 with the taper section 1C of the same taper as that of a tool shank formed concentrically with the outer periphery of the tool shank to hold the tool shank tightly and also to avoid the wear of the tool pot 1. The cylindrical bottom section of the tool pot is provided with a through hole 1D to be inserted with a pull stud, and the periphery of this through hole 1D is provided with small holes 1E, in which press balls 6 and coil springs 7 are put to grasp a cutting tool by pushing the pull stud.The cutting tool is stabilized by being held with the fluorine resin layer 5 and press balls 6. The surface of the tool pot 1 is applied with a hard alumite process to restrain the wear of the tool pot and also prevent the hard layer from corrosion. |
