In order to simplify the manufacture and assembly of a valve, intended particularly for a bicycle tube, with a disc-shaped rubber foot and a valve insert mounted in the latter and provided at least at its free end with an external thread, a collar-like bush (12) is moulded axially onto the rubber foot (11), the valve insert (20) being plugged into the said bush, which encloses the said valve insert in a leaktight manner.
