<p>The trouser carrier for mounting on a wall has horizontal, separate bars on which each pair of trousers is placed. The bars are joined to an arm which is hinged onto a support for the wall panel or other surface. The bars are in a canti-levered position on the arm so that each pair of trousers can be placed on and removed separately. The hinge joint fixing the arm to the wall support is cylindrical, and turns on a pivot on the inside of the support. The joint can be locked automatically in two main positions for the arm and bars - vertically, and horizontally. The locking mechanism consists of a cog pushed by a spring against a cavity in the cylindrical joint. A release consists of a disc.</p> |
