<p>PURPOSE:To reduce mounting volume at a time when a plurality of IC cards are set at one time while eliminating the need for the confirmation of the surface and rear of the rectangular IC card on insertion to a device by mounting a plurality of electric contacts along a center line parallel with the direction of insertion so that the electric contacts on the surface and the rear are faced oppositely in both the front and the rear surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Electric contacts 1a fitted onto a surface A as the front surface and a surface B as the rear surface of an IC card 1 respectively are arranged along center lines parallel with the direction of insertion 1c so that the electric contacts 1a on the front surface and the rear surface are faced mutually. Pairs of the electric contacts 1a faced oppositely and mounted onto these surface A and surface B respectively conduct common action at every pair. That is, when the direction of insertion is correct, the electric contacts between the IC card and a device, in which the IC card is stored, are connected and data are transferred even when the surface A and the surface B are turned upside down and inserted. The IC cards can be connected mutually in a manner that the rear surface of one IC card is connected to the front surface (or the rear surface) of the subsequently set IC card, thus densely cementing a plurality of IC cards, then reducing mounting volume.</p> |
