PURPOSE:To effectively cool with a required and minimum cooled air amount by providing an aperture part for supplying air for cooling all over the entire length of a flash lamp on the top of a reflector and providing a means for controlling the air amount distribution of the air for cooling on its aperture part. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted that the reflector 6 is arranged in such a way that it surrounds the flash lamp 5; on the top of the reflector 6, the aperture part 7 in a slit state is provided, which is an air blowing-off port to cool the flash lamp 5, the air supplied to a supplying duct 8 from a cooled air supplying port 10 is blown off toward the flash lamp 5. And between the supplying duct 8 and the aperture part 7, a control plate 11 to distribute the air amount blowing toward the flash lamp 5 is attachably/detachably set in such a way that the controlling plate 11 slides along the aperture part 7 with respect to the top of the reflector 6. Thus, the cooled air amount needed by the respective parts of the lamp 5 is appropriately distributed, and the effective cooling with the required and the minimum cooled air amount is executed. |
