PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction without making constitution complex by providing a mark for photodetection condition discrimination to respective plural photodetecting elements which photodetect external operation light. CONSTITUTION:A timepiece case is provided with the photodetecting elements 6a-6d which photodetect the external operation light and the elements are given marks 6'a-6'd for photodetection condition discrimination which are formed in a round, a rectangular, a round, and a rectangular, etc., respectively. When the elements 6a-6c photodetect light on the basis of those marks, a jig 7A in the timepiece is set to make a forward time correction and when the elements 6a, 6b, and 6d photodetect light, a jig 7B is set to make a backward time correction. Consequently, troublesome complicate input condition need not be set and malfunction in time correcting operation, etc., is prevented without making the constitution complex. |
