The products are raised on end by the connecting rail (20), and are grouped by a tongue (20), guided by an arm (17), a curve (21), a belt (22) and a pulley (23). A grip and lifting device transfers one or more groups of flat products to pallets provided with U-shaped side supports, foldable at the corners and located in a box with low edges. The grip device commences pressing together at the bottom so that the products are pressed upwards against a ceiling plate (38), and then increases at the top so that the load forms a well compressed arched configuration. The grip device (3) has one upper (36) pressing, and two lower (37) tractive cylinders provided with a throttling and reduction valve for control of the work process. |
