The vessel is for liq. or dry cargoes, and has a number of holds, the longitudinal hatch sides (2,3) of which are located near the shell plating sides (6,7). Longitudinal bulkheads (12,13) limit the side tanks (14,15) from the holds. Cross bulkheads (10) are also provided. In at least one hold is a fluid-tight shaft (26,27) which is between the deck (1) connecting the hold and the hold bottom (9). This shaft has an upper end part adjoining a passage and service tunnel (16,17), containing pipe conduits (22,23) connected to a conduit (20) in the shaft. |
