The panel support of a curtain wall secures a panel(24) by holding its edges in four-sided, continous and inside-facing grooves(19). These are formed by providing a groove on one side of each of the section members(1) which form vertical and horizontal members of a four-sided frame with a seal(16) positioned between the groove- forming side and the panel. A space (23) is formed along and all around the edges of the panel. The groove is formed by the section member, a thermal insulating connector(12) and a holding member(13). The holding member is fixed to the side of each section member with the connector held between, pressing a portion(11) of each connecting member onto the seal.
