PURPOSE:To improve the starting torque and the efficiency of a semiconductor motor and to decrease the output torque ripple by providing other one phase armature coil at the position separated at 90 deg. of an electric angle from one phase armature coil and controlling the conduction of these coils. CONSTITUTION:Armature coils A, B are mounted on a stationary armature, and provided at positions separated at 90 deg. of an electric angle from each other. A transistor 25b is alternately switched to be conducted and interrupted by the output of a Hall element 24. A transistor 25a is switched to the opposite state of conducting and interrupting to the transistor 25b. For example, when the element 24 is disposed under a magnetic field of an N-pole, only the armature coil B is conducted, while when the element 24 is disposed under a magnetic field of an S-pole, only the armature coil A is conducted. |
