PURPOSE:An adhesive composition improving heat-resistant adhesiveness of bonding between rubber and fiber, especially polyester fiber, consisting of a resorcinol-formaldehyde resin and a specific diene rubber-like copolymer latex. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. solid content of diene rubber-like copolymer latex which is obtained by subjecting vinylpyridine, an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid and a conjugated diene monomer to emulsion polymerization, is a diene rubber-like copolymer latex containing pyridyl group and carboxyl group and has 7-26wt% pyridyl group content and >=0.01 milliequivalent based on 1g copolymer of carboxyl group on the latex particle surface is blended with 10-40pts.wt. (dry weight) resorcinol-formaldelyde resin, to give the aimed adhesive composition. USE:Tire, belt, etc., in which especially polyester fiber is used for reinforcing. |
