PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity, by setting the total weight of all layers provided on the upper side of a high-temperature color forming layer to or below a specified value. CONSTITUTION:The total amount of all layers (e.g., an intermediate layer, a decoloring layer, a low-temperature color forming layer or an overcoat layer) provided on the upper side of the high-temperature color forming layer is set to be not more than 10g/m<2>. In addition, the total amount of all layers provided on the upper side of the decoloring layer is set to be not more than 5g/m<2>. Where the high-temperature color forming layer, the decoloring agent layer and the low-temperature color forming layer are provided on a base, an intermedi ate layer comprising a film-forming high molecular weight binder as a main constituent is provided between the low-temperature color forming layer and the decolorizing agent layer. Where the decoloring layer is provided between the low-temperature and the high- temperature color forming layer and the high-temperature color forming layer might be affected by the decoloring agent, the intermediate layer comprising a film-forming high molecu lar weight binder as a main constituent is provided between the two layers. Further, an overcoat layer comprising a water-soluble high molecular weight substance as a main constitu ent is provided on the low-temperature color forming layer, with a waxy substance, a thermo setting organic filler or the like added to the overcoat layer. Accordingly, the titled material can be obtained by which a low-temperature color forming layer capable of forming a black color can be obtained, a clear high-temperature developed color image free of color mixing can be obtained with high sensitivity, and which is less liable to generate sticking or adhesion of scum to a head. |
