PURPOSE:To improve the 2nd equalization capability limit of a transversal equalizer by applying logic operation to an output of a logic operation means and a data signal to obtain a control signal of each tap of an imaginary part. CONSTITUTION:A 64QAM input signal enters transversal filter 4 comprising a delay circuit and a weight circuit, the input signal is subjected to reception of a control signal from weight control circuits 2, 3 to eliminate the inter-code interference of the input signal and an output signal without inter-code interference is obtained at the output from the transversal filter 4. A real part weight control circuit 2 receives quadrant discrimination signals D1p, D1q being outputs of A/D converters 10, 11 are error signals Ep, Eq as inputs to output weight control signals R+ or -2, R+ or -1. On the other hand, an imaginary part weight control circuit 3 receive quadrant discrimination signals D1p, D1q and an area discrimination signal S2 and a position discrimination signal S1 being outputs from a ROM20 to send weight control signals I+ or -1, I+ or -2. |
