<p>The different fittings (51) are linked to a load surface (80) via elastic bolts (82) which grip slots in the load surface. The load is secured by the relative horizontal movement of the load and the truck. The load is supported off the truck on folding struts (53) and is lifted on and off the struts by the movement of the truck. A servo ram can be incorporated on the truck to pull the elastic bolts into the locking position.</p>
