PURPOSE:To correctly display a graph even in a small graph area by preparing in advance plural character sizes respectively against each character string to be displayed in the graph, selecting automatically the character size corresponding to the graph area and displaying the character string. CONSTITUTION:If a 'newly graph generating' is selected by the depression of a key train 3 and the size of the graph is instructed, a graph form setting screen is displayed on a display device 9. If the kind and the composing number, etc. of the graph are inputted from an input device 2, a CPU1 stores then within a RAM7. At the next, if a constitution name and an item name, etc. are inputted displaying a graph constituting item setting table, the CPU stores them also on the RAM7. Following that, an execution key on the key train 3, is inputted and an designated graph is displayed. When the graph area is especially small, one kind of the sizes is selected automatically corresponding to the dot number of a check space from plural character sizes prepared in advance. Thereby, the graph easy to see corresponding to the size of the graph area can be generated, thereby reducing inconvenience that some portion of the graph cannot be displayed by the restriction of the graph area. |
