PURPOSE:To raise the temperature of a combustion chamber through a simple installation work by integrally forming a liner part covering at least a part of the wall surface of the combustion chamber of a cylinder head onto the inner peripheral edge part of a sealing part for sealing the joint part between the cylinder head and a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A head gasket 3 is formed through press-molding of a stainless steel plate, etc., and a concentric sealing projecting stripe 3b is formed onto an annular sealing part 3a, and four bolt holes 3c are drilled, keeping an intervals of about 90 deg.. Further, a linear part 3f is integrally bent onto the inner peripheral edge part of the sealing part 3a, and said liner part 3f is formed from the outside part 3d and the inside part 3e. Said head gasket 3 is loaded onto the upper surface of a cylinder 1, and the joint part between the cylinder 1 and the cylinder head 4 is sealed by the sealing part 3a, and the outside part 3d and the inside part 3e of the linear part 3f are attached onto a skewish wall 4b and a center wall 4a, respectively. |
