PURPOSE:To ensure high reliability with simple constitution by connecting two sets of center node devices not duplicated in series with an optical fiber cable. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of the identical 1st and 2nd center node devices 21, 22 not duplicated, light accessors 23, 24 inputting light, bypassing the light to control processing sections 25, 26 and input/output transmission lines 29, 30, inputting the light from the sections 25, 26, coupled with passing light signal and outputting the light to a transmission line 30, power supply sections 27, 28 supplying power to the control processing sections 25, 26 and the inside of the device and optical fiber cables 29-31 for input/connection/ output. If the 1st center node is faulty, the 2nd node device 22 takes over and the duplication of the center node devices is facilitated by using even two sets of single center node devices. Thus, the network with high reliability is ensured with simple constitution without complicated constitution fro changeover and control. |
