Fatty emulsions which contain prostaglandin I2 molecules of the following formula (I) <IMAGE> where X denotes an oxygen atom or a methine group, Y is a carbon atom, and Z denotes a methylene or methine group; when X is an oxygen atom, the Y-Z bond is a carbon-carbon double bond, and when X is a methine group, the X-Y bond is a carbon-carbon double bond and Z is a methylene group; R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R2 denotes a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom, and R3 denotes a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group or a vinyl group; R4 denotes a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3-8 carbon atoms, and n is 0 or an integer having the value 1.
