PURPOSE:To reduce the recording capacity of a recording section, to reduce time required for section converting process and to facilitate picture display by cutting out only the areas of concern from picture data for plural sheets and recording and reproducing them. CONSTITUTION:The area of a concern R is set in a state that the first picture data D1 are displayed in a display unit 6, and the address data and patient information are sent to a CPU 9. The CPU 9 records the picture data D1 together with the patient information in a picture data storing section 11, and at the same time, stores address data in an address data recording section 12. Then, the picture data D1 and address data are read out and sent to a display unit 6A. The second picture data D2 are displayed in a display unit 6 and only the picture data D'2 of a part corresponding to the area of the concern R are recorded in the adjoining part of recording area of picture data D1 in the picture recording section 11. After making the section converting process of the picture image data D'2 by controlling a section converting section 13, the data are sent out to the display unit 6A. |
