<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive for electroless plating having superior heat and thermal shock resistances and satisfactory adhesion by using a thermosetting resin, rubber and a metallic oxide as the constituents. CONSTITUTION:This adhesive for electroless plating contains a thermosetting resin such as novolak type phenol resin, rubber such as acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber and a metallic oxide such as zinc white as the constituents or further contains an inorg. component such as the carbonate of an alkaline earth metal as a filler. Though the adhesive contains no sulfur, it shows superior performance. The preferred amount of the thermosetting resin is about 30-80pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. in total of the resin and rubber, that of the metallic oxide is about 0.5-5pts.wt. and that of the inorg. component is about 25-35pts.wt. The constituents of the adhesive are dissolved or dispersed in a proper solvent and used as a pasty substance.</p> |
