A surfboard (10) comprises a foam body (11) which is surrounded by an outer skin (12). The outer skin has an all-round seam (13), along which two plastic half-shells forming the outer skin are welded together. Between the outer skin and the foam body, there is an adhesive channel (16) which is filled with a foaming adhesive which has been filled in through an adhesive inlet recess at one end of the channel.
