<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a discarded plastic material so as to be recyclable by cutting the plastic substance into small pieces by operating a board gimlet and compressing the small pieces by a first reciprocally moving piston and further compressing them by a second reciprocal piston to send the compressed one into a chute containing a main ram. SOLUTION: When a board gimlet 12 is started to begin to supply cut plastic substance pieces to a vertical chamber 19, first and second reciprocally moving pistons 20A, 21A are started. The second piston is retracted and the first piston moves downwardly to compress the first part of the cut pieces of the plastic substance to the bottom part of the vertical chamber 19. Next, the first piston moves upwardly toward the first upper position and the second piston begins to move to the left to feed the compressed pieces of the plastic substance to the inlet end of a chute and the plastic substance is further compressed herein. The board gimlet 12 continuous operation during the up and down movement of the first piston and the going in and out of the second piston.</p> |
