PURPOSE:To remove a problem due to deterioration in sound quality of a consonant part by forming a means for finding out the sum of power of multipulses and a means for finding out residual power based upon LPC analysis on the transmission side, sending a difference signal between both the values and adding a white noise proportional to the difference signal to a multipulse train on the receiving side. CONSTITUTION:On the transmission side 1, a sound signal inputted from an input terminal 100 is inputted to an LPC analysis part 10 and a pulse searching part 20. An LPC factor found out by the LPC analysis part 10 is used for pulse searching and sent to a residual power detecting part 30. Respective outputs of the detecting part 30 and a pulse level calculating part 40 are sent to a subtractor 50 to find out the lack of electric power. The output, i.e. power lack information, of the subtractor 50 is sent to the receiving side 2 and inputted to a white noise generating part 60 to obtain a white noise proportional to the lack of power. The white noise is added to the output, i.e. a multipulse, of a pulse assembling part 70 by an adder 80 and the output of the adder 80 is inputted to a composite filter 90 formed by the sent LPC factor. |
