PURPOSE:To obtain a high-precision compact polygon scanner with a low cost by forming members constituting a rotating polygonal mirror and plastic magnet members into one body and magnetizing plastic magnet members with an optional magnetic pole pattern. CONSTITUTION:An aluminium base material is blanked to an approximate polygonal mirror shape to obtain a polygonal mirror 1, and this polygonal mirror 1 and plastic magnet materials 2 are formed into one body, and plastic magnet materials 2 are magnetized thereafter and are subjected to grinding work for polygonal mirror to attain the one-body structure of the polygonal mirror 1 and a magnet rotor 2. A magnetic body consisting of a silicon steel plate or the like is subjected to insulation processing and a print pattern is formed there to obtain a stator yoke plate 7, and a Hall element for detecting the rotation position of the magnet 2, a driver IC for supplying power to a coil 8 in a certain determined order, and other electric circuit parts such as resistance, capacitors, and connectors are attached. Thus, the high-precision compact polygonal scanner is obtained with a low cost. |
