摘要 <p>A cammed resilient clamp connector for establishing electrical contact between a flexible circuit and another circuit device uses relative motion therebetween to wipe away or remove any debris or other foreign matter present on the terminals which could adversely effect electrical contact. In Fig. 2 relative motion between the respective circuit devices is provided by male 14 and female 12 housings having a camming device 26, 46 incorporated therein. This camming device will effectively wipe away any foreign matter or debris located on the respective terminal devices. In Fig. 7, mechanical springs 84, 86 are used to provide lateral motion to the circuit devices thereby wiping away any dirt, dust or debris. Preferably, a means for prewiping i.e., a cleaning pad, is provided to facilitate removal of debris. In further embodiments (not shown), (a) a rigid p.c.b. enters an aperture lined with resiliently-backed flexible p.c.b.'s (Fig. 5), and (b) a cam-actuated slide provides wiping motion (Fig. 9). <IMAGE></p>
