<p>In the clutch release bearing employed, connection means are provided, for the coupling of the approaching piece (4) to the engaging piece (15), which are capable of effecting an axial link between the said pieces, comprising a resiliently deformable coupling member mounted on the engaging piece (4), and a driving surface (9) formed as a whole transversely on the approaching piece (4). According to the invention, the coupling member comprises a resilient ring (24) capable of assuming, by being turned over, two configurations, the first, which is convex, after contact with an engagement surface (7) of the approaching piece (4), the other, which is concave, after contact with a turning-over surface (11) of the approaching piece (4).
