SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance light fastness of a magenta type image by incorporating a specified magenta dye image forming coupler and a stabilizer made of a specified compound in a silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsion layer contains the magenta dye image forming coupler represented by formula I in which Z is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form an optionally substituted N-containing hetero ring; X is H or a group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; and R is H or a substituent. Said layer also contains the image stabilizer represented by formula II in which Q1 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 7-membered hetero ring together with C; Q2 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a piperazine or piperizine ring together with N, thus permitting the magenta dye image to be prevented from being browned with light, and color nondeveloping parts to be prevented from being stained with light, heat, and humidity by using these combination.
