<p>PURPOSE:To improve the recording quality by heating always or as required a part of a thermal head irrespective of picture information to reduce the conveying variation of an ink doner film caused by a temporary bond with the head as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head controller 21 supplies a drive signal 23 corresponding to printing data 22 a drive signal 24 irrespective of the data 22 to a thermal head driving circuit 25. The signal 24 is set in advance so that the conveying displacement of an ink doner film 28 becomes + or -0 when the printing ratio is, for example, 50%. If an ink doner film conveying system is controlled according to the set value even if the signal is any value when the data is applied, the bond of the film with the head due to the fluidized portion of a base 3 upon heating of a thermal head 26 is reduced to enhance the conveying accuracy of the film 28.</p> |
