PURPOSE:To stabilize repetition characteristics without lowering sensitivity and to satisfy all the conditions required for an electrophotographic sensitive body by incorporating a specified low molecular ammonium salt in the photosensitive body containing at least a charge generating material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body having at least one electrostatic charge generating material on a conductive substrate contains one of the low molecular ammonium salts represented by formulae I-III in which R1 is optionally substituted alkyl or aryl; each of R2-R4 is H, alkyl, or aryl; X<-> is an anion; each of R5, R6 is a group forming a ring; each of R7, R8 is alkyl; each of R9, R10, R11 is an alkyl group forming a cross-linked ring; and R12 is H or alkyl. This ammonium salt is added, preferably, in an amount of 0.1-50pts.wt. especially, 1-25pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the charge generating material. |
