The invention relates to a method for reducing disc formation in the production of polyolefins by polymerization of alpha-olefins using titanium-based polymerization catalysts, in which the static electric charges in the reactor at the places where disc formation might occur are kept below the levels for the static voltage which otherwise would cause disc formation.
