Forceps of an instrument kit for the production of a surgical suture, and clip magazine for use with the forceps

There are provided forceps for fixing clips (3) on the suture thread (2) for the production of the surgical suture. The forceps have an engagement means (5) which fixes specific engagement positions of the forceps and secures the latter in these positions. The forceps have scissors (6, 7) for cutting off the thread (2) between adjacent clips (3). This permits simple, safe working. Furthermore, there is a magazine (50-59) from which pairs of clips (3) can be removed simply and safely with the forceps. <IMAGE>
