摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To measure efficiently the transverse bend of a rolling material with good accuracy by measuring the position of the central part of the rolling material with plural pieces of measuring instruments provided at prescribed intervals in the conveying direction of the material to be rolled and expressing the profile thereof in terms of functions. CONSTITUTION:Output signals are inputted to an arithmetic unit 50 for profile from the 1st-3rd measuring instruments 22, 24, 26 for the central position in the transverse direction of the material to be rolled contiguous with a rolling mill 20. The metal-off signal from a metal-in detector 32 is inputted thereto and further the sample command signal from an arithmetic unit 38 for conveyance distance is inputted thereto, then the arithmetic unit for profile takes in the data obtd. by sampling devices 42, 44, 46 and expresses the profile of the material to be rolled with the distance of the rolling material as a parameter. As a result, the bend shape of the material to be rolled is made simple and the measurement is made with good accuracy.</p>
