The protective electric fence section comprises a frame with one or more wires woven into a taut mesh, and means for preventing movement of the mesh intersection points. A number of wires of the same type as the mesh wire run through these points between the intersecting wires, and are electrically connected to them. At the points concerned the mesh wires can be bent in relation to the plane through the frame through at least 180 deg., thus forming two loops at each point through which the other wires pass. The latter wires can be stretched horizontally.
