PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth segmented image by applying the same conversion processing as a conversion processing to an image with respect to mask information for segmenting a part of original image information, and thereafter, correcting the mask information which is brought to the conversion processing, and segmenting an image. CONSTITUTION:A magnified composited data 50 of 9 bits is sent to a masking processing circuit 6, and a notched mask edge part by rough mask meshes by a masking data 51 is smoothed. The composite data 50 which is inputted from a terminal 24 is delayed by one line portion by a shift register A23a, and furthermore, by one line portion by a shift register B23b, and the composite data 50 of three line portions are outputted simultaneously. Also, outputs of each line are delayed by one picture element delay elements 22a-22f, respectively. As for the masking data 51, the edge smoothing processing is executed by using a data of 8 bits except 21e in outputs 21a-21i. In accordance with this smoothed masking data, only an image data of a segmented part in an image data 52 is outputted to a binary-coding processing circuit 7. |
