PURPOSE:To improve the storage stability of a liquid due compsn. at both high and low temps., by adding a pH adjuster and, when necessary, an inert substance to an aqueous soln. of a specified reactive dye for pH adjustment. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. consists of 5-50wt% at least one dye of the formula (where D is a residue of an organic dye having 1-3 sulfonic acid groups; n is 1 or 2), 0.1-1wt% pH adjuster, 0-10wt% substance inert to the dye and 39-94.9wt% water and has a pH of 2.5-5.5. The pH adjuster includes sodium, potassium and ammonium salts of formic, acetic, oxalic and primary, secondary and tertiary phosphoric acids. The substance inert to the dye includes inorganic substances such as Glauber's salt which is formed as a byproduct of synthesis of the dye and/or added separately, surfactant, dyeing auxiliary, solubilizer, defoamer, etc.
